Tax refund

In Norway, retail prices include value added tax (VAT). In collaboration with approx. 3 000 stores in Norway, Global Refund and Euro Refund offers VAT refunds to outward bound travellers who are residents of countries outside EU.

1. Ask the shop staff for a Refund Shopping cheque when you spend at least NOK 315 or more in one shop.

2. Show your purchases, receipt and passport, and have your Refund Cheque stamped.

For Global Refund: get it refunded at Tanum Bookstore at International departures. 

For Euro Refund: get it refunded at the Service Office in the terminal at the airport.

Goods too large to be taken on board as hand baggage must be shown before check-in. The staff will check your ticket and goods and stamp your Global Refund cheque.
