It is easy to get from Østfold to Torp.

The ferry boat Bastøfosen runs between Moss and Horten, almost every 30 minutes.  From Horten you can drive to Torp or take the train.

It is also easy to get to Torp from Fredrikstad (Østfold). There is a shuttlebus from Fredikstad to the ferry Flybåten. The ferry runs from Engelsviken to Tønsberg. From Tønsberg, you can either take a taxi, or the bus Telemarkekspressen.
